I thought the Book was great. With diabetties in our family I found it very helpful in selecting foods for my family. I highly redommend it. The book was a real eye opener. My husband thought he was eating healthy when he ordered a turkey burger at Ruby Tuesdays, but when he read the book he was shocked. This will be a great companion when we eat out.

I have 3 of his books and they certainly are fun to browze through. I have made some changes in what I buy or order but you would need to bring these books with you to fast foods restaurants or the supermarket for them to be really effective because it's hard to remember which is *this* and *not that*.

A friend showed this book to me, which she had bought from [...]. It was a great book to get.
I work two jobs (teaching 8 hours and heavy lifting/pushing carts in a parking lot for 5 hours) and there have been a couple of times where I had to eat fast food because I sometimes don't have time to make a meal. The information given in this book really does work in terms of treating yourself or resorting to fast food when you have to. I have not lost any weight for 2.5 years, but I have lost 20 lbs within 2 months this summer by working out for at least an hour (on the job) and using this book. Wow! I have it with me in my car all the time when I travel in between jobs besides the car manual- it is a must have!

If you are trying to take off a few pounds, buy 2 of these books and keep one at home and one in the car. Someone took alot of itme and effort to write this book and it is very helpful.
